The Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) has announced the formation of the CMAA Desert Southwest Chapter, a new regional chapter serving construction management professionals across El Paso, Far West Texas, and Southern New Mexico. Operating as a 501(c)(6) organization, the chapter launches with more than 65 members representing over 30 regional companies and organizations.
The chapter will provide professional development, networking, certification preparation for the Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential, industry advocacy, and workforce development initiatives. Chapter programming will include workshops, jobsite tours, panel discussions, and networking events designed to support construction management professionals throughout the region.

To celebrate the chapter's launch, CMAA Desert Southwest will host an Open House on June 16 at 6:00 p.m. at the El Paso Community Foundation Room. Construction industry professionals interested in learning more about the chapter and its upcoming programs are encouraged to attend.
